Thomas Wolsey School in Ipswich has turned lunchtime breaks into positive learning experiences for its pupils and has scooped the top prize in the National Training Awards for its outstanding work.
The school, which has a roll of 82 pupils, each with a physical or learning disability, achieved this by training 10 school lunchtime supervisors to become skilled play leaders.
