Ipswich Borough Councillors have approved the Budget for the next financial year. The Council's Conservative and Liberal Democrat administration proposed a council tax increase of 2.4% - the lowest in Suffolk.
Among the spending plans for 2004-2005 are an extra £100,000 for community safety and an extra £132,000 on the homeless.
