Volunteers helped Ipswich Borough Council's Park Rangers plant 400 native trees in the Orwell Country Park last month. It was all part of a plan to replace sycamores with wildlife friendly oaks, ash, hazel and hawthorn to give the park's Bridge Wood its old character back.
