Ipswich is taking part in Architecture Week, the national public celebration of architecture

For the second year running Ipswich is taking part in Architecture Week, the national public celebration of architecture, from 16th to 25th June 2006.

There is an air of confidence and regeneration in the town, by the Waterfront, which is undergoing a stunning renaissance. To highlight these changes, as well as celebrating some of the fine historic buildings that still grace the town, a series of guided walks has been put together by Ipswich Borough Council's Tourist Information Centre and the town's Blue Badge Guides.

To join in the events organised in Ipswich contact Ipswich Tourist Information Centre, itself situated in the beautiful medieval church of St Stephen, on 01473 258070 or tourist@ipswich.gov.uk
