Volunteer drivers are asked to come forward and help strengthen the Ipswich Dial-a-Ride team

Volunteer drivers are asked to come forward and help strengthen the Ipswich Dial-a-Ride team. This service, which has been in operation since 1988, enables wheelchair-users and people who cannot easily use public transport to get out and about, visit family and friends, go shopping and attend doctor appointments. Dial-a-Ride is now unable to offer a full service due to a severe lack of drivers, so the team urgently needs to find more help. If you can spare as little as one morning or afternoon a week you could make a real difference to people’s lives. Volunteer drivers and passenger assistants receive free training and expenses.
