A packed house at the Ipswich Film Theatre
A packed house at the Ipswich Film Theatre greeted the first night of former US Vice-President Al Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth”. The film carries a powerful warning about global warming and among those attending were Suffolk County Council Transport portfolio-holder, Councillor Guy McGregor, and Ipswich Borough Council’s Environment portfolio-holder, Councillor Inga Lockington. The two councils staged an exhibition in the Corn Exchange looking at green travel, carbon reduction and other issues. Councillor Lockington said: “There is no greater issue for the world and its future.”
