Ipswich Borough Council's Payment and Tickets area in the Town Hall will be open throughout the festive period, Monday to Saturday, apart from on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

The one-ipswich Customer Services Centre will open on Saturday 23rd December, when staff will be there to help between 9.30am and 12.30pm. On Friday 29th December opening hours are 9am to 4pm and on Saturday 30th December 9.30am to 12.30pm.

The centre was established by Ipswich Borough Council and its partners in the one-ipswich strategic partnership to bring services together. Suffolk Constabulary also have staff on duty at the Town Hall and Customer Service Direct offer services from Suffolk County Council and Mid Suffolk District Council. The Town Hall centre staff can help you on anything from housing benefits advice to planning, from booking shows to council tax enquiries, from police enquiries to reporting a wheelie bin that has not been emptied, and also social care and education enquiries.

The normal opening hours are Mondays to Fridays 8am to 6pm (10am start on Wednesdays) and Saturday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Outside these hours the Police Station in Civic Drive is open from 6pm to 11pm from Mondays to Fridays and from 8am to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays for Police enquiries.
