An open day giving people an opportunity to find out more about living in sheltered accommodation
An open day giving people an opportunity to find out more about living in sheltered accommodation has been held. Sheltered housing is a great idea for retired people who want to keep their independence but who need a little help at the same time. They are also a good way of making new friends. The day was organised by Ipswich Borough Council and its housing association partners. More than 300 people toured the 11 schemes opened by the Council and Orbit and Orwell housing associations.
