Ten teams of budding soccer stars took part in the Suffolk Chamber's inaugural five-a-side cup at Ipswich Town Football Club's training ground at Playford Road.
The teams were IP-City Centre, PKF Accountants, Larking Gowen Accountants, Town 102, Suffolk College students and Suffolk College staff, Suffolk Acre, Suffolk Development Agency, MLM Consulting Engineers and Suffolk Chamber of Commerce. IP-City beat the students 4-0 in the final.
Proceeds from the event went to Ipswich Town's Academy to support the development of young players. Chamber Chief Executive John Dugmore said: "A big thank you has to go to Ipswich Town Football Club and, in particular, to Simon Milton, for organising the event with the Chamber. And, of course, a huge thank you to all those who entered what ended up a fun day and definitely one which will be repeated in 2008."
