Team Ipswich the local community sports network developed by Ipswich Borough Council's Sports Development unit has announced a new business supporter who will help drive forward the development of local sport.
Touchline Sports Ltd announced their package of support for local sports clubs and elite athletes at an event held by Team Ipswich at Salthouse Harbour Hotel.
Karen Pickering MBE, Ipswich's ambassador for sport, hosted the launch, thanking Touchline Sports for coming on board during this very exciting time for sport locally. Members of the Team Ipswich elite squad heard how the new support will help them.
Jamie Warner, Managing Director of Touchline Sports commented: "Touchline Sports is a Suffolk-based business and the leading sports teamwear supplier in the region. Working in partnership with Team Ipswich highlights our continued support of local sport. Amateur Clubs survive on dedicated volunteers and limited budgets. We are determined to help by offering not only competitive pricing on teamwear and equipment but also fundraising incentives including our unique 'Touch-Shop' where we build and manage on-line stores for clubs to promote themselves. The second element of our support is for the Team Ipswich Elite athletes. All these individuals are extremely dedicated to their sport and are determined to represent Great Britain, especially in London 2012. Touchline Sports is proud to sponsor each individual through the supply of sport specific apparel and equipment.
