The hand-over of a key Ipswich town centre development site will take place next week.
Turnstone Estates Ltd has bought the multi-million Civic Centre site, comprising the empty tower block, the spiral and two surface car parks, from Ipswich Borough Council and plans a mixed-use retail, business and residential development that will transform the area.
Turnstone’s Development Director Nick Scott will join Council leaders on site at 8.30am on Thursday 2nd August to discuss the ambitious project with the media.
Civic Centre opened in 1972 and was vacated last September. The Council now leases space at Grafton House in the Ipswich Village area.
