For the first time ColourDome comes to Ipswich as part of the Ip-art Festival.

ColourDome is a large walk-in labyrinth of colour and light. The public enter into a new world where strong colours radiate through Tubes and Chambers to mix into all the colours of the rainbow.

ColourDome from the outside

Explore the colours and discover live musicians and theatre performers. The labyrinth leads to a large transparent Dome where the public outside can also see the performances inside the Dome.

On Monday 30 June from 11.00am to 4.00pm ColourDome will be in Cornhill outside the Town Hall.

Performing in and around the ColourDome are Mongolian Overtone Singing, flutes, panpipes and computer music.

Amazing illusionist Mr Silver performs inside ColourDome with crystal globes floating in space accompanied by live music.

At 12 noon children from local schools, St Matthews and Handford Hall, create a procession of Samba percussion and colour sculptures moving through the pedestrian streets and ending at ColourDome where they perform.

This event, organised by Eye Music Trust, is funded by Arts Council and supported by Ipswich Borough Council.
