Wednesday 7th May at 7pm
Join Ipswich Borough Council Wildlife and Education Rangers to enjoy a relaxing evening stroll through the peaceful settings of Pipers Vale Local Nature Reserve. The walk will take in the historic Gainsborough Lane, as well as Elm Hill.
Walkers will be listening for summer migrants and resident bird species, with the Ranger giving useful tips on how to identify the birds by their call. Hopefully walkers will be able to hear the unmistakeable mesmerising song of the nightingale.
This part of Orwell Country Park is beautiful in the evening with the sun setting over the River Orwell and this is an event not to be missed.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance so don't miss out, call now on 01473 433994.
