The Easter programme brought to you by Ipswich Borough Council's Team Ipswich is set to be one of their most exciting yet.
The range of more than 20 different activities includes Tag Rugby, Athletics, Street Dance, Swim Camps, Roller-skating and Trampolining and all sessions are delivered in safe, secure environments with qualified instructors.
Places on some activities are limited and need to be booked but many are designed so you can just turn up on the day. Some are even free of charge, such as the new Tag Rugby, which forms part of the 'Gateway to the Suffolk Youth Games event'. Tag Rugby is a very exciting sport and the sessions this Easter at Northgate, Whitton and Gainsborough Sports Centres are being taken by coaches from Ipswich Rugby Club.
Once again, Ipswich Borough Council has linked up with local organisation Out & About to ensure that children and young people with disabilities can also choose from, and take part in any activity or sport this holiday.
The monthly junior I-card continues to provide excellent value for money at less than £10 and many Ipswich children who have been awarded a free I-card, as part of the sporting rewards scheme, from their school, will also be able to use the casual activities free of charge.
You can view the entire programme online at www.getoutgetactive.com (opens in a new window) or pick up a brochure at any Ipswich Borough sports centre or Crown Pools.
