Ipswich residents are joining in a new 'Place Survey' which will help the Borough Council and its partners across the county assess their priorities and find out what people feel about where they live.
The quality of life survey is being delivered to 4,000 homes in Ipswich alone and includes questions about crime, health, housing, public transport, sports and cultural facilities, shopping, recycling, clean streets, activities for teenagers and much more.
Council Leader Liz Harsant said, "This is an holistic approach to service delivery and finding out about what people's needs and priorities are." She urged residents who receive a survey form to fill it in and return it.
The survey, which is overseen by the Audit Commission, is being sent to homes at random all over Suffolk.
The results are expected to be published early next year.
