Planned road works in a busy Ipswich street have been postponed while engineers investigate complex utility issues on site which could have caused disruption to power and water supplies if broken.
The carriageway work on a 90-metre section of Woodbridge Road on the one-way system between Christchurch Street and Argyle Street was to have commenced on 18 August. Residents have been informed of the postponement. No new date has yet been set for the works.
