We aim to provide you with a high quality service. If you have a complaint or compliment about any service we provide, please let us know. We will aim to put the matter right and make sure we improve the service we provide. We would also like to know if you are pleased with the service provided.
We will use your feedback to inform our staff and to improve our services.
If you do have a complaint
In the first instance you should advise the member of staff who has been dealing with you. However, if you do not want to do this ask for the name of their Manager.
If you are still unhappy with the way your complaint has been dealt with, you will need to complete the attached Complaint Form. Your complaint will be investigated further and we will let you know the outcome as quickly as possible.

How quickly will the Council respond?
Where possible your complaint will be dealt with fully within 20 working days.
What happens if I am not satisfied with the Council's response?
If, when the Council's complaints procedure is completed, you are still not satisfied and wish to pursue the matter further you can contact the Local Government Ombudsman.
The Local Government Ombudsman is an independent person who investigates allegations of maladministration causing injustice to the person who has complained. The Ombudsman investigates complaints about most council matters including housing, planning, education, social services and council tax. The Ombudsman who deals with this Council is at:
