Under the Local Government Act 2000, the Council is required to produce a Forward Plan which sets out details of all Key Decisions which the Executive intends to take during the following four month period.
The purpose of the Forward Plan is to provide the Public with information regarding the subject on which the Key Decision will be taken; the period, or if known, the date on which the decision is to be taken; details who will take the decision and of any consultations which are to take place on the subject and the name and address of a contact at the Council to whom comments may be made together with the latest date for the receipt of comments.
Ipswich Borough Council intends to publish Forward Plans in January, May and September of each year and to update those plans every month.
