Strategic Overview and Scrutiny Committee
Ipswich Borough Council has chosen to establish one overall Strategic Overview and Scrutiny Committee responsible for monitoring and reviewing the decisions taken by the Executive, and two Sub Committees:
Audit Scrutiny Sub Committee
Reviews the Council's internal and external audit arrangements, and financial performance of the Council as well as reviewing decisions of the Executive, Portfolio Holders and Officers.
Policy and Development Scrutiny Sub Committee
Reviews the Council's policies, developments and projects as well as reviewing decisions of the Executive, Portfolio Holders and Officers.
