The Town Hall on the Cornhill is Ipswich's one-stop Customer Service Centre.

Town Hall

Ipswich Borough Council and its partners in one-ipswich, the local strategic partnership, have provided a town centre facility capable of delivering top quality services to the community from several public agencies all together in one central place.

The centre at the Town Hall is the place to go if you want to pay bills or to ask for advice. Ipswich Borough Council's "back office" staff moved last year to Grafton House near the football ground in Ipswich Village.

Ipswich Police and Suffolk County Council also have staff on duty at the Town Hall to help you.

The Town Hall centre is high-tech, with highly trained staff to help you on anything from housing advice to planning, from booking shows to benefits, from police enquiries to reporting a wheelie bin that has not been emptied.

Now you can see why we call it a one-stop shop.

The one-ipswich Customer Service Centre is open six days a week. The opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (later opening on Wednesday at 10am for staff training) and Saturday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Customer Services Centre. The name says it all. This is about making it easier for you.
