The Ravenswood Charter
A truly sustainable neighbourhood cannot exist in isolation. Neither should one be created without regard to the wider community.
For this reason, when creating the new community of Ravenswood, Ipswich Borough Council and Bellway Homes, decided to work in partnership. Both parties were determined to provide not just a vibrant new community but one whose very creation would enhance and help the existing community.
This would be achieved by providinglocal people with local jobs and skills-training and local
companies with the opportunity to tender.
