Development Control deals with all types of planning applications and planning enforcement.
We also offer an on-line internet service called Planning Online which provides basic planning information. You can search and view planning applications and associated documentation. This information will be gradually expanded. Our aim is to provide a top quality information and search facility to assist all users of the planning system, in line with the government's e-planning objectives. Conservation and Urban Design deals with conservation areas, listed buildings and design issues.
Land Charges deal with all matters relating to Local Land Charge searches.
Planning Policy deals with the planning policy framework for the Council via the Ipswich Local Plan and the new Ipswich Local Development Framework (LDF). The Preferred Options consultation is now closed. Click here to view the development plan documents and comments made on the proposals.
