The Millennium Cemetery

Millennium Cemetery, Tuddenham Road, Ipswich IP4 2SU

The Millennium Cemetery opened in 1999 and is located to the north of Ipswich on Tuddenham Road.

There are three main areas to the cemetery, incorporating two styles of graves, lawn and traditional style.

Area ZA (located to the left of the main drive): This area is laid out in the Lawn style and the graves are mechanically dug. Ipswich Borough Council grounds staff maintain the grass regularly using ride on mowers and strimmers.

Area ZB (located to the right of the main drive): This area is laid out in the traditional style and the graves are also mechanically dug. If you choose to have the grave turfed, our grounds maintenance team will cut the grass for you when they maintain the surrounding area. These graves can also be planted. Contact us for current prices for turfing and planting.

Area ZC, the children and babies section, (located to the right of the main drive): This area is enhanced by a black granite and white marble memorial. It is laid out in the traditional style. All graves are hand dug and the area around the graves is looked after by the grounds maintenance team. As with the adult graves, these can be turfed or planted.
