Electoral Services

There are 48 Councillors elected to Ipswich Borough Council. The Borough is divided into 16 Wards, with three Councillors elected in each. The ward map and list of Councillors can be viewed here.

Elections are currently held annually, with one Councillor from each Ward retiring each year. Every fourth year there is a break from Borough Council Elections and Elections for County Councillors are held instead.
