Christchurch Mansion is available for hire in the evenings. The House, owned by Ipswich Borough Council is the ideal venue for many occasions, and can turn a function into a prestigious event, for example, wedding receptions, presentations, corporate entertainment or business meetings. Refreshments can be provided by Fonnereau's licensed café.
The Mansion, set in Christchurch Park, dates back from the mid-16th century. It has one of the best collections of Constable and Gainsboroughs outside London, as well as an outstanding collection of furniture.
The Mansion is suitable for a variety of occasions. Arrangements can be made to hire just part of the house in order to suit your individual requirements.
The Mansion is situated close to the town centre. Guests will need to organise their own parking, but the town centre car parks, such as Crown Car Park, are very near.
A selected list of caterers, musicians, photographers and florists is available on request.
Charges for the hire of Christchurch Mansion range from £30 to £1,200 + VAT. (A reduction is made for charitable organisations).
