A Dusk Chorus
Wednesday 7th May at 7.00pm.
Join Ipswich Borough Council Wildlife and Education Rangers and enjoy a relaxing evening stroll through the peaceful settings of Pipers Vale Local Nature Reserve, taking in the historic Gainsborough Lane as well as Elm Hill. We will be listening for summer migrants and resident bird species, with the Ranger giving useful tips on how to identify these birds by their call. Hopefully we will hear the unmistakeable mesmerising song of the nightingale. This part of Orwell Country Park is beautiful of an evening with the sun setting over the River Orwell.
This is a booking event with limited numbers so don't miss out - book now on 01473 433994.
