The following are complaints and complements sent to us relating to our service. Please note that all personal identifiable information has been removed.

Compliments:

Absolute praise for the refuse services and council employees who deal with queries etc. Always friendly (wheelie bin crew) and most helpful (dept).

Have contacted them to find out when rubbish collection was as there was a bank holiday. Phoned me back within 10 minutes so ok service!

As a churchwarden I was greatly impressed by the quick response of the IBC concerning the removal of potentially dangerous waste from church property - thank you.

I usually contact the cleansing dept for disposal of drugs/needles and find the service excellent even on evenings and public holidays. I got the contact through the BT phone book.

The staff of Anglia Care trust on St Matthews Street rang to say how good their street sweeper is - and particularly today when one of their green sacks had split and he nicely cleared it all up for them.

The lady who reported fly-tipping off Bramford Road behind Spinner Close has telephoned again to thank you so much for clearing it so promptly. Well done.

A caller from Glencoe Road phoned this morning to say what a good job the Gully man was doing at the location and how hard he has worked. I told him that I would pass this "Thank You" on to the relevant person.

I received a call from a woman to congratulate and thank our men for the excellent service they continue to provide. She said that they are always prompt and polite and ensure the road is kept tidy after collection.

Complaints

The road gully on our side of Faraday road is worn away.

Too many bins left out on public footpath.

Have an ongoing problem every now and again with brown bins not being emptied.

Cut the fruit trees down on the green, why? The fruit trees there, make our lives a living hell when the fruit falls off, we often have to call the police.

Didn't get a response to my email about the litterbins on Cliff Lane.
