Clinical waste disposal from private households includes the safe collection and disposal of hypodermic needles, incontinence pads and dialysis waste amongst other items.

We provide a free disposal service from private households.

Clinical waste must not be put in with normal rubbish, it should be stored in special yellow sacks.

Any sharp instruments such as scalpels or needles must be put into special yellow plastic containers known as "sharps boxes".

All records of collection are confidential.

The waste is taken to a special incinerator which destroys the waste.
