Domestic Waste

Please put your bin at the boundary of your home, near the road. If you live in a terraced house bring the bin to the front of your property or leave it at the end of the passageway, as near to the road as possible.

Please place the bin with the handles facing the road.

Please make sure your bin is out on time as collection times may change - the first collection starts at 6.30am. If the collectors call and the bin is not on the boundary it won't be picked up. If you are infirm or have a disability and have difficulty in putting out your bin we will be able to offer assistance each week. Please call 433090 for further information.

Please do not put the bin out with the lid wedged open...Please do not put bricks, rubble, soil or stones in your bin...
Please do not put any heavy objects in your bin...Please do not put excess bags beside your bin...

It is an offence to leave your wheeled bin on the pavement throughout the week. Please ensure it is put back on your property as soon as possible after collection. If residents fail to comply with this request, offending wheeled bins will be removed and black sacks will be issued at the rate of one per week.
