StreetCare is responsible for three areas of services that affect the streets and open spaces of Ipswich. These are: Green Space, including areas such as Parks and Landscapes, Grounds Maintenance and Park Patrol; Road Space, including Parking Services, Highways and Abandoned Vehicles; and Clean Space, including Cleansing and Refuse, Waste Saver and Recycling. StreetCare helps to deliver the Council's "Transforming Ipswich" goal to have a Clean and Green Ipswich - "We will work with the community to make Ipswich a model urban clean and green place."
StreetCare Objectives: - To provide good customer service
- To provide services focussed on local need, using an area based approach wherever possible.
