The doorstep play project will be on the road again this summer.
Our mobile play project provides free open access play provision for children aged 7-11 years on a turn up and play basis in their local communities. The Doorstep Play Project will visit the local parks play areas and open green spaces.
Activities available previously have included; face painting, mask making, junk modelling, jewellery, display boards, mosaic, card making, football, rounders, skipping, cricket and much more for the children to take part in and enjoy. (Activities are of course dependent on the weather and location).
Unfortunately, unaccompanied younger children cannot be catered for on the Doorstep Play Project sessions and play workers are unable to ensure children do not join in and
leave the project at their own choosing.
The Doorstep Play Project will be offering activities whatever the weather. Some venues may be cancelled, for more information contact 433661/3
Children should wear old play clothes, bring protection for the weather on the day and drinks if required.
