Community safety
The Community Safety Team work to make Ipswich a safer place and to ensure the safety of anyone who lives in, works in or visits Ipswich.
We look at the physical and social aspects of safety, and seek to support charities, local community groups and other organisations that also work towards this goal.
During the summer of 2012 a Community Safety survey was conducted at various events within the town. The events were an opportunity for the Community Safety team to raise awareness of the services that Ipswich Borough Council offer and to capture the views and perceptions of those who live in and visit Ipswich to help ensure that these services reflect them.
393 people completed the survey and the main findings are available to download below:
Thanks to all those who took part in the survey.
