Understanding the risks
Allocating risk ratings
The main risks to Ipswich and the county are reviewed annually by the emergency services.
They consider the perceived risks in Suffolk and use the National Risk Register produced by the Government to allocate a risk rating to areas that could potentially lead to an emergency situation. These are then collated into a matrix which can be viewed on the Suffolk Resilience Forum website.
Advice on how to stay safe in various situations is available on our Advice pages.
