There are several areas of on-street motorcycle parking bays available in the town centre and town centre car parks;

• Cromwell Square car park: 18 motorcycle bays (Short stay)
• High Street: 5 spaces
• Old Foundry Road: 10 spaces
• Princes Street: 11 spaces
• Tacket Street: 11 spaces
• Tower Ramparts: 10 spaces

Motorcycle parking in car parks

Motorcycles are exempt from paying the full motor vehicle tariff at short stay Pay & Display car parks where bays are provided as follows:

• Crown car park
  2 motorcycle bays
• Ipswich Village car park
  Long stay Pay & Display
  6 motorcycle bays
• New Portman Road car park
  10 motorcycle bays
• Portman Road car park
  Long stay Pay & Display
  8 motorcycle bays
• Upper Barclay Street car park / Upper Orwell Street
  Motorcycle bays adjacent to the car park
• William Street car park
  Short stay Pay & Display
  6 motorcycle bays
• Regent Theatre car park
  Short stay Pay & Display

Normal charges apply at all other council car parks.
