An official search of the Registers of Commons and Village Greens can be requested by completing question 22 on the CON 29 'Optional' form. When complete the form should be sent, with a fee of £12, to:

Commons and village green enquiries can be submitted to Ipswich Borough with any other CON 29 'Optional' enquiries for a fee of £14.

The Registers of Common Land and Town or Village Greens are available for public inspection from the Land Charges team at Suffolk County Council during office hours with reasonable notice. You will need to telephone first to make an appointment. Contact details are available on the Land Charges section of the Suffolk County Council website.

If copies of the register entries are required, these can be supplied for an administration fee to cover the cost of photocopying. You will need to contact Suffolk County Council for more information.
