Residents' Parking Zones

Ipswich has four residents' parking zones. The streets included in the four zones are listed below, or check on our GIS mapping service to see maps of Residents Parking Zones.

Some properties located in the residents' zones are not included in the scheme, if in doubt please contact Parking Services.

Zone 1

Residents living in zone 1 can purchase up to two residents permits, which are valid in any of the streets located in zone 1.

The permit must be clearly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle.

Businesses located in Zone 1 can purchase up to two business permits.

• Grove Lane;
• Hill House Road;
• Kings Avenue;
• Milner Street;
• Oxford Road;
• Rope Walk;
• St Helen's Street;
• Spring Road.

Zone 2

Residents living in zone 2 can buy one residents permit which is valid in any of the streets located in zone 2.

The permit must be clearly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle.

Businesses in zone 2 can purchase one business permit.

Zone 3

Residents living in zone 3 can buy up to two residents permits which are valid in any of the streets located in zone 3.

The permit must be clearly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle.

Businesses in zone 3 can purchase up to two business permits.

Zone 4

Residents of zone 4 can buy up to two residents permits which are valid in any of the streets located in zone 4.

The permit must be clearly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle.

Business in zone 4 can purchase two business permits.

Useful information

Some properties located in the residents' zones are not included in the scheme, for example any new development or property conversion completed since 2005 may not be included. If in doubt please contact Parking Services.
