Fore Street swimming pool is an elegant 25-yard Victorian facility catering primarily for:

• Clubs
• Courses
• Private hire.

Built in 1894, it comprises a single 25 x 7-yard traditional swimming pool.

Please note that public swimming on a Sunday is now from 13:00-15:00 and that the pool will be closed to the public on Wednesday mornings 10.30-12noon during term time.

Saturday evening swimming at Fore Street Pool this summer

Following the success of the extended opening hours last summer, Fore Street Pool will once again be open on Saturday evenings from 17:30-20:30 during June, July and August. The early evening public swimming session is open to both adults and children. For the full timetable see link above.
