Paying a Penalty Charge Notice

Details of how to pay and what to do next are shown on the Penalty Charge Notice.

If you ignore this notice you will lose the option to pay at the reduced rate and we will send a Notice to Owner to the registered keeper of the vehicle which explains what to do next.

How to pay

You can pay:

• Online - By credit or debit card, using our Online Payments service. No surcharge will be added to credit card payments.
• Telephone - By credit or debit card, calling 01473 433777 at any time (24 hour automated service). No surcharge will be added to credit card payments.
• Post - Please DO NOT send cash in the post. You can pay by cheque or postal order made payable to Ipswich Borough Council and sent to:

  PO Box 667
  Ipswich IP1 9AR
• In Person - You can pay in person at a network of Post Offices and Payzones across Ipswich. You will need to take the Penalty Charge Notice with you to the payzone.
