On-Street parking bays
The Council operates the following on-street parking bays in the town centre. It is the driver's responsibility to purchase a Pay & Display ticket from the machine for the desired stay.
Black Horse Lane on-street parking, Black Horse Lane, Ipswich (4 spaces)
Elm Street on-street parking, Elm Street, Ipswich (11 spaces)
Old Foundry Road on-street parking, Old Foundry Road, Ipswich (28 spaces)
Princes Street on-street parking, Princes Street, Ipswich (6 spaces)
Queen Street on-street parking, Queen Street, Ipswich (6 spaces)

It is important to read the signs carefully before leaving your car. There are many shared-use parking bays in the town centre. Some only allow parking for some of the day and loading and unloading at other times.
Parking restrictions often change when events are held in the town. This is to keep traffic flowing freely, for security reasons or for roadworks. During home football matches and concerts, the limited waiting bays around the football ground are suspended and parking is prohibited. Please read the signs before you leave your car.
In addition to the above there are a limited number of Pay & Display bays located in:
- Fonnereau Road - approx 32 spaces
- Soane Street - approx 8 spaces
