The fourth Larking Gowen Ipswich Half-Marathon takes place on Sunday 23rd September 2012 and the organisers say they are looking for local charities to contact them with a view to being their nominated charity for the event.

Council tax bills and council tax benefit notification letters will be posted out to thousands of Ipswich residents on Friday 12th March. All bills and letters should be received by Friday 19th March.
Buzabout now extended

From this Friday, residents living on or near Wherstead Road in Ipswich will be able to use the Buzabout community transport service on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Waitrose opens in town centre

The Mayor and Mayoress of Ipswich were two of the first customers at the town centre's latest store. Councillor John Le Grys and Doreen Aldridge met staff at the Little Waitrose in the Corn Exchange.
