Cadets celebrating 150 years

The cadet movement was formed 150 years ago in readiness for a perceived invasion by France. Originally just the Army and Sea Cadets, the 20th Century saw the addition of the Air Training Corps too.
Plans for major new art facility

Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk New College are exploring plans to create a new art facility at the former Art School in High Street. Owned by the College, the building currently stands empty.
