Ipswich's Park Rangers will be joined by youngsters from the Lapwing Suffolk project to plant a traditional orchard in the town's Chantry Park next Wednesday, 11th January.
They will use traditional Suffolk varieties of apple, pear and plum trees
and will be meeting prior to planting at the rose garden next to the bowling
green in the park at 10.30am.
Lapwing Suffolk provides individual programmes for youngsters with complex
barriers to learning.
More traditional orchard trees will be planted by the Borough Council's
Rangers in Alexandra Park on Friday 13th January, again starting at 10.30am.
Friends of the Park will be helping out.
