Following the success of the first “open weekend” in February, the Council is again providing a wide range of cultural activity for free at Ipswich’s Town Hall and Corn Exchange complex.

The 'Access All Arts' event will take place on 13th and 14th October and will act as a showcase for cultural talent.

A number of activities will be taking place throughout the weekend, including live music, Judy's Vintage Fair, Snobs Coffee Café-Bar, Ipswich Film Theatre, plus free music and art workshops. The Town Sergeant will also be providing historical tours around the Corn Exchange and Town Hall, including the Mayor's Parlour.

Ipswich Borough Council's Culture portfolio-holder, Councillor Bryony Rudkin, said: "This vibrant event gives us an opportunity to invite the community in to the Town Hall and the Corn Exchange to raise awareness of this wonderful facility and to enable the public to enjoy new cultural experiences. I do hope many of you will come along."

Visit the 'Access All Arts' pages for further information, including a timetable of activities.

Local organisations interested in taking part in this or future events should contact Evie Dunbavin on 01473 433517 or email evie.dunbavin@ipswich.gov.uk.
