Youngsters aged 16 to 25 flocked to a Jobs & Skills Showcase in Ipswich to find out about job and apprenticeship vacancies.

The event at University Campus Suffolk gave them the the opportunity to meet potential employers and discover a range of different career paths. There was also plenty of information about education, training, apprenticeship and volunteering opportunities.

The showcase was organised by Ipswich Borough Council in partnership with Job Centre Plus, University Campus Suffolk and Leap.

A business advisor was also on hand to give advice on starting your own business.

The exhibitors (employers and training providers) were: Next, Suffolk County Council, Go Menta, Suffolk Young Chamber, Eastern Enterprise Hub, Leap, Saga Healthcare, National Apprenticeship Service, Allied Healthcare, TCHC, Suffolk New College, ISG Jackson, Volunteer Ipswich, UCS, Job Centre Plus, Opportunities Workshop, and Crack On!
