Hazardous material spill on Norwich Road

At present, a 50 metre cordon is in place around the scene of the incident (269 Norwich Road) which means Norwich Road is currently closed to traffic in both directions between Sherrington Road and Chevallier Street.

Local residents are being advised to avoid the area and as a precaution, keep doors and windows closed. Road users are being advised to find alternative routes in and out of town.
