First Heart Run

Ipswich is getting ready for the town’s first ever charity Heart Run this weekend.
The Borough Council has teamed up with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) for the family fun and fund-raising event in Chantry Park on Saturday 2nd February in Chantry Park.
Run organiser Adam Keer said: "We hope a lot of people will turn up on the day - wearing an item of red clothing, of course - and help raise much-needed cash for our partner charity."
Meanwhile, the town is preparing to "Rock up In Red" on Friday 1st February - with schools, businesses and other organisations urged to wear something red and donate £2 for the BHF.
The charity joined forces with Ipswich Borough Council last year to establish Ipswich as a Heart Town and boost the BHF's profile and funds.
