Big hearted Ipswich

More than 100 people took part in Ipswich’s First Heart Run, while hundreds more supported a national charity by Rocking Up In Red the day before.
The Borough Council teamed up with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) for the family fun and fund-raising event in Chantry Park and organiser Adam Keer said: "We are really grateful for everyone who turned out for our first Heart Run - it was great to see people sporting red to raise cash for our partner charity."
Meanwhile, Borough Council staff and others Rocked up In Red to raise more money for the BHF, which joined forces with the Council last year to establish Ipswich as a Heart Town and boost the BHF's profile and funds.
Among those taking part was Richard Howitt MEP, who took part in a "rock up in red" aerobics session at Gainsborough Sports Centre.
