The Planning & Development Committee at Ipswich Borough Council met this morning, Wednesday 26 July 2023, to discuss three applications. All Committee members were present, two applications were approved and one application was refused.

The first of five free family fun days this summer kicks off on 28 July at Alexandra Park in Ipswich, thanks to Area Committee funding. Others will take place on 2 August at Ransomes Sports Pavillion, 4 August at Murray Road Park, 9 August at Bourne Park and 11 August at Castle Hill Park.

Ipswich Borough Council is celebrating the success of its eight microhomes, dedicated to helping rough sleepers in Ipswich. Since the first tenant moved into Armitage Place in July 2021, the microhomes have helped 16 people in the last two years with temporary housing and access to further support.
