Ipswich Museum is about to start on its major refurbishment, made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, that will retain the best of the past and deliver the changes needed for a modern museum.
Ipswich Borough Council has transformed 4 College Street near Ipswich Waterfront from a dilapidated eyesore to a bright new business space with character. The newly restored building will be open to the public for the first time as part of the Ipswich Society’s annual Heritage Open weekend on 10 and 11 September 2022 (10am to 4pm).
