Assistance dogs are welcome at both the Ipswich Regent Theatre and the Corn Exchange including the auditorium. If required, bowls of water can be supplied; please let us know when booking.
Customers and companions are welcome to visit our venues before attending a performance to familiarise themselves with the venue’s layout. Please contact our box office to arrange a pre-visit during our opening hours.
Wheelchair customers, or those requiring step-free access to the theatre, can enter through our ramped accessible entrance to the left of the main theatre doors. Please push the pad and a member of our Front of House team will assist.
For most shows, we provide 4 wheelchairs spaces at the front of the stalls (Row B) and two on either side (Row J) but this can vary. Please contact the box office on 01473 433100 to book wheelchair spaces. Wheelchair users may transfer to a seat, but must be able to walk without aid in the event of an evacuation.
There is no disabled parking (including for blue badge holders) at the theatre. Please visit our ‘Getting Here’ page for nearby disabled parking bays.
Our accessible toilet is located behind the stalls in the Crush Hall.
There is level access to all Stalls seating, but the Circle seating and all Boxes are accessed via steps/stairs. Please note there is no lift in the theatre.
The theatre has an induction loop system in place available on specific seats in the auditorium. For more information, or to book seats within this loop area, please call our box office on 01473 433100.
To access the Corn Exchange box office, there is level access through automatic doors from King Street.
For wheelchair access to the Grand Hall, there is lift access for public use through the Customer Service Centre entrance on Prince Street (next to Little Waitrose).
The nearest accessible toilet from the Grand Hall can be located via this lift.
The Grand Hall of the Corn Exchange has an induction loop system in place. Please ask at the time of booking, or early on arrival if you wish to use this facility.
