Cyclists in Ipswich’s Christchurch Park are being reminded where they can and cannot ride.
There is one dedicated cycle route in the park, from Westerfield Road to the bridleway running alongside Henley Road. Use of other paths for cycling is a breach of local by-laws.
Following concerns from park users, the Borough Council is to run a campaign next week and parks staff will be on hand to advise cyclists of the route they can take.
At the same time, pet owners are being reminded that their dogs must be kept on a lead in the Arboretum in Christchurch Park.
